Before El Rincon de los Canallas was a restaurant, this eatery was a secret meetingplace for like-minded people against the Pinochet regime in the 1980's. Multiple passwords were used to gain entry and keep conspirators out. After a mysterious fire, the restaurant had to move locations to the current one today, but they have updated their decoration with letters and notes from their visitors and patrons.
